Online admissions: from public form to merit list without a spreadsheet
Publishing the application form, collecting documents and fees online, and generating merit lists your board can defend.
Admission season has a way of turning into a shared spreadsheet with fourteen tabs and no version history. The fix is not a better spreadsheet.
The public form
You publish an application form from the admission module — no developer needed. Applicants upload birth certificates and transcripts directly, and the files land against the applicant record rather than in an inbox.
Fees at the point of application
Application fees collect online through the payment gateway you have already configured for tuition. Reconciliation is automatic, which removes the usual end-of-season argument about who actually paid.
Merit lists that survive scrutiny
Define the weighting once — previous results, entrance test score, sibling priority, catchment — and the list generates from it. Every applicant record shows exactly which rule contributed how many points, so when a parent asks why their child placed 41st, you can show them.
Waiting lists roll forward automatically as offers lapse.
