What's new in Aalo SchoolSuite this quarter
Faster tabulation, a rebuilt report builder, and guardian push notifications on the mobile app.
A short round-up of what shipped this quarter.
Report builder, rebuilt
The builder now runs on the same query layer as the two hundred bundled reports, so a custom report is as fast as a stock one. Saved reports can be scheduled and mailed to a distribution list.
Tabulation performance
Weighted grade calculation moved off the request path. A full-school tabulation that used to take four minutes now completes in under twenty seconds.
Mobile
Guardians get push notifications for absence, fee due dates and published results. Notification preferences are per-guardian, so both parents can choose differently.
